Yasmine Essence Soria is a writer, editor, and photographer born and based in Chicago. She received her BA in Creative Writing with a minor in Photography at Columbia College Chicago. Her work has been published in Mystic Owl Magazine, Allium Literary Journal, and Same Faces Collective. As a Mexican-Honduran American woman, she writes to express the core aspects of her identity while concentrating on developing new perspectives of the world. She writes literary short stories, poetry and flash fiction, some of which is featured here.
She is currently a freelance photographer seeking to break into the book publishing industry.
